Before we dive into the actual practices, let’s get a little technical just hang with me.
What is hypnosis?
It’s a natural, focused state of awareness where the mind is deeply relaxed yet sharply alert. This allows us to bypass the analytical mind and access the subconscious, where deep change happens. Hypnosis is achieved through induction and used for everything from stress relief to emotional healing and behavior change.
From a brain perspective:
Neuroscience shows that hypnosis shifts brain activity. fMRI and EEG scans reveal stronger connections between brain regions, syncing the brain in a more unified way.
Most people are already in a hypnotic-like state all day, absorbed in screens, emotions, or stories. That’s hypnosis, too.
Brainwaves during hypnosis:
Alpha: light relaxation, bridges the conscious and subconscious—great for reprogramming beliefs.
Theta: deeper access, tied to meditation, dream states, and stored emotions.
Gamma: heightened insight and integration, shows up in advanced hypnotic states.
And on a chemical level:
Hypnosis helps regulate your neurochemistry in powerful ways.
It boosts feel-good, healing chemicals like:
Endorphins (pain relief, pleasure)
Dopamine (motivation, reward)
Serotonin (emotional balance, sleep)
Oxytocin (trust, connection)
GABA (calm, nervous system regulation)
Melatonin (rest, circadian rhythm)
And it helps lower the overproduction of stress hormones like:
Cortisol
Adrenaline
That means less fight or flight, more rest and restore. Your body can finally exhale.
All of this supports neuroplasticity, your brain’s ability to rewire, release old patterns, and create lasting change. So hypnosis isn’t just relaxation, it’s activating your internal systems for transformation, clarity, healing, and resilience.
Setting the Scene: Creating the right environment matters. Think nervous system sanctuary. Find a quiet, cozy space. Dim the lights, add pillows, blankets, whatever makes your body feel safe and supported. Check your temperature—wrap up if needed. Aromatherapy (like lavender or chamomile) can deepen the experience.
Before we begin:
Stretch lightly. Use headphones if possible.
This is about telling your body you’re safe now. You can let go.

REMINDERS:
Be mindful not to let perfectionism keep you from showing up.
Use the Ritual teachings as a tool to support this journey.
Repetition is the key to embodiment.
When you think you know, you may not be listening …
This journey is about honoring and connecting with yourself, your womb as your inner oracle.
