The Frequency of Luxury: The Energetics of Quality, Refinement and Wealth

I was once asked why so many spiritual people are broke.

At first, I didn’t know how to answer.

But lately, as I’ve been tapping into the frequency of luxury, I realized it always starts in the mind.

I was never someone who cared about designer things. Maybe it was cope, but I told myself every extra dollar should be invested, that people only bought expensive items to look rich.

I had a limited understanding of excellence… of detail… of desire.

And looking deeper, it’s never about buying the handbag.

It’s about recognizing refinement, sophistication and how that mirrors the quality of your thoughts, the precision of your word, the way you do everything.

It’s like running your hands across an expensive piece of wood.

You can feel the years it took for the tree to root deep into the earth… and the craftsmanship it took to transform it into a masterpiece. A way of preserving it.

In a throwaway culture, one I’ve participated in, I’m finally understanding what quality actually means.

We discard because we don’t appreciate deeply. We discard because we havent refined our senses enough to notice.

This is something I’m learning to do.

And I’m grateful for my mentor that models this so beautifully. And for my man with his craft and meticulous attention to detail. He learned from a German master who pioneered microchips.

Excellence requires brutal honesty.

When I first encountered this level of refinement, I scoffed. Why pay so much attention?

And then you you realize attention shows up everywhere.

In the quality of your life.

In how you savor moments.

In how you make art out of the mundane.

In how you expand capacity.

In how you treat others, even when they don’t match your energy.

In how you show up for your people.

In how you lead AND learn.

It all forges you.

So the real reason isn’t that spiritual people are broke … It’s that most have never learned how to honor quality, in their lives, their choices, or themselves.
