In This Module We Explore:
Getting present with what is.
Using the breath as information.
Calling your awareness to places of tension and ease in the body.
Breathing through your core channel.
Practicing noticing without changing what is.
Understanding the sensational qualities of our experience.
Leaning into and softening around our experience.
Asking ourselves what is needed and giving ourselves that.
Embodiment Practice: Taking Notice
What did your breath teach you about how you may be feeling?
Did you notice pain in your body?
What was your experience of the pain? Did you move your body to try to fix it?
If you couldn’t remember that, too is information.
Where did you notice your attention? Where were you focused? (Were you thinking about the past, present, or future)
What was the flavor of what you noticed? What emotion was your experience mostly flavored with?
Where was it challenging to breathe into?
Anything else you noticed?
